Yeah, one house has an ornamental dogwood and the other a Silver bells?...

something like that, both are huge now, 20'? and obscure their 2nd floor front windows, at the time I recognized that and planted an Alberta Spruce, which is now, oh, 9 feet tall (orginally came in a gallon bucket) otherwise we would have had a wall of trees, good enough for hiding delivered packages but otherwise an open space.

County was here in full force this morning, and they're done. a dump truck and a chipper, not sure what you call 'em - not a backhoe - but an articulated arm and bucket which they could pick up logs and dump them in the back of another dump truck, supervisors, everything including three people in yellow vests who I wasn't sure what they were doing. OK, one dragged a branch over to the chipper, one guy was smoking and there was an obese woman with what appeared to be a large mirror attached to her helmet, so she didn't have to turn around to talk to people.

Here I am being snarky, they are done by 8:45 this morning. not bad.
