I saw it originally at theater when it was released. rarely do i get


emotional at a film..that one got me, though. i recall it being difficult for me to not cry...so i most likely stammered thru crying...(which was probably louder than if i had just cried)...thought of my father..a WW2 vet of the Battle of the Bulge. 19 yrs old he was...
That 1st scene of the vet (private Ryan) approaching the Normandy graves trying to locate the captain and dropping to his knees upon discovery...man...
