confrontational behavior for years. This rule just clearly spells it out. This is not some wussy, liberal erosion of manliness or trash talk. It is simply giving the refs the tools to maintain sportsmanship in the game. There will always be a level of trash talk in the game, but there needs to be a balance. Young kids are watching and emulating these players. I'm sure most fans in the stands and on this board would not like their young children or grandchildren learning new words or sayings because the players are allowed to say anything and everything they can think of to get the opponent mad.
Frankly, I think you need to take your outrage and redirect it. It is misplaced and illogical.
