Realized as I read that I pictured teacher as Millennial female, 30ish


The teacher isn't identified, but without thinking about it I pictured the teacher as a 30yo woman. Because only someone who believes without question that everything they think of is a great idea would do that. Even if you remove the special ed and autism part of the story, no teacher with even a little self-awareness would give a "most annoying" award to a kid.
