I was reading a book and watched a gentleman check in and then make his way to the kitchenette in front of me for a cup of coffee. He poured a cup and meticulously stirred in cream and sugar. Then he walked over to sit in a chair that was diagonal from mine. As he sat, he spilled his cup of coffee all over the floor. I chuckled to myself. Guy goes and gets paper towels, drops them on the floor and does that tap dance thing with them.

He then goes back to the kitchenette for a 2nd cup. Once again he pours one and meticulously stirs in cream and sugar. Walks back over to the chair diagonal from me again, sits, and spills it all over himself. "Go******t!" I turn away so he can't see me laughing.

Guy gets more paper towels, cleans the floor, then wipes coffee off of his pants.

Then he goes back for a 3rd cup. Pours it, stirs in cream and sugar and starts to exit the kitchenette. Just then a nurse sees him and says, "Mr. Johnson, aren't you having your procedure this morning? You can't have coffee." As his shoulders slumped I busted out laughing and told him, "It just wasn't meant to be."
