The New River Jam, '80 or 81, at the Long Way Home Amphitheater

A fabulous show on a fabulous day. In addition to RTB, there was NRBQ and the Nighthawks with guest Bob Margolin. But the surprise of the evening was a no frills jangle-pop band from Winston-Salem, Sneakers. Featuring future dBs Chris Stamey and Will Rigby, and possibly Mitch Easter. With a great cover of "Take Me to the River".
