Science

Science should be a search for truth. But when the truth changes every few years, it gets challenging to know what to believe.

If the old science is proven to be fraudulent based on predetermined results ... absolutely.

If the old science is merely wrong because modern research has found a mistake, designed a better experiment, or has better measurement tools at their disposal ... that shit you've got to get used to. It's the entire point.

If you need settled truth that never changes, I'd suggest picking a religion that best fits your worldview and ignoring everything else.
