In that article CMY said he planned on meeting with KJB family again this coming week. If KJB plans to decide today basically he is cancelling that visit which is not a good sign. By the way, my take on the article you referenced is not so much that CMY is "optimistic" but that he is merely hopeful and will work on KJB until the end.
