At some point, to get all the shows you want, you'll need several ...

... different providers of content.

The trend, headed by Disney, of course, is to keep all their content to themselves. They will then offer their content to you for a fee, cha-ching. Netflix is doing the same. Want their shows, cha-ching. This is going to go on forever. Cha-ching, cha-ching.

At some point, to get the individual shows you want, you will have to subscribe to several different content providers, cha-ching. Eventually, the price you end up paying isn't going to be much different from what you used to pay for cable.

Everyone wanted "a-la-carte" cable viewing. Careful what you wish for.
