Not quite a decision per se, but made the mistake of losing track


of where I was at McCoy Falls for about a second, which was enough for me to get caught in the current and tossed through a couple hundred yards of rocks and rapids.

The one time in my life I had calculated my chance of being alive five minutes into the future was potentially under 50%.

Most scared I've ever been in my life.
