One of the big changes I made when I lost weight was to stop drinking


calories.

I grew up thinking things like fruit juice and milk were healthy. Debatable how nutritious they are, but not debatable how many calories they have. When you are trying to stay under 1800 calories a day, it is almost impossible to hit that goal if anything you drink has calories in it.

I admittedly drink way too much Coke Zero. But that and water are all I really drink anymore. OK, that, and bourbon. But at least bourbon is better than beer.
