The soft OOC schedule should give VT enough wins to have a shot
at earning an at-large bid to the NIT. If not, then Babcock may be willing to pony up the $50K entry fee for the CBI. It is worth noting that Wofford participated in the 2012 CBI and lost to Pitt in the First Round. It would be interesting to know if MY is in favor of or opposing the idea of VT participating in the CBI. It may be even more interesting to know Babcock's position on the subject matter.
@Will Stewart or @Chris Coleman - do either of you have any idea on MY's and Babcock's position on VT participating in the CBI and I guess more importantly the $50K entry fee? If not, then maybe it would be a good question to ask either/both individuals at some point since the CBI doesn't require participating teams have a winning record.
