At that time the Valley District was C-ville, Western Albemarle, Waynesboro, RE Lee, Fort Defiance, Broadway, HHS, TA, and Spotswood. Parry McCluer was A (not sure if they are still A or AA under the new 6 tier system). I don't think Natural Bridge HS existed when I was in HS. If it did, then it was A too. Rockbridge joined the Valley at some point. I believe the Valley District split up after VHSL switched to the current 6 tier system. At least I am pretty sure C-ville, Western, Rockbridge, RE Lee, Waynesboro, and Fort are no longer members in the Valley District. Then again, it may depend on how many teams end up A, AA, AAA, 4A, 5A, and 6A for the 2 year cycle.

FWIW I believe my cousin went to Parry McCleur for HS and is now the AD at Fort Defiance.
