Your making way too many excuses for a bad D
You gave them 3 mulligans in your post. How many mulligans do the get. before you realize they were the problem.
ND had a very good team, how many points is expected from our offense with a QB making his 2nd start against a team like that? By the way, when an offense starts at their own 3, that should be to the advantage of the opposing teams defense. Instead it was one of many long yardage plays that our D gave up. Also there were at least 2 plays where wide open receivers behind tech defenders (I mean by like 20 yards) were overthrown by ND qbs In other words we gave up 40+ points but it really should have been a lot worse.
