The only two Hokie golfers going this week are Drew Weaver and Trevor Cone at the Winco Foods Portland Open. This is the final regular season event on the Korn Ferry Tour.

The cutoffs to note are that the top 25 get PGA Tour cards for next year, and the top 75 qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour Playoffs, which is 3 weeks long.

Both players are essentially locked into their spots.
Weaver is #34, so he's in the playoffs. Cone is #129, so he's looking at q school this fall (his win last year let's him skip to stage 2). They would need to finish in the top 3 this week to move up a level. Weaver to get his card and Cone to qualify for the playoffs.

This week's event is televised by the Golf Channel, as it is always good for some drama on Sunday.
