Early 80s CBB was weird, coaches were exploiting the rules...


with no double bonus, some teams would start hacking halfway through the 2nd half; there was a fair amount of stall ball w/o a shot clock; and teams would camp in the paint with no 3 point line- UVA fell victim to this many times when they had Ralph.
