That's the way it looks to me too.


If he had never been injured, might have kept the starting job @VT until he graduated, but he was injured early in the season, and RW got a chance to show what he could do in game conditions...and RW got better. RW has a better arm, and better wheels.

JJ is a "game manager." He isn't going to win many games we weren't supposed to win, but he probably won't lose many games where we're supposed to win.

RW is a "gun slinger." He might make some mistakes, but those are more than offset by the his incredible plays.

That's what JJ was scared of...and the Maryland starting QB position looked like a cakewalk. He was probably told the job was his until he graduated. If Piggy beats him out, look for Maryland to have a similar negative undercurrent as VT last season...
