ACCN & ACCNX Tech Support Questions (using Verizon FIOS)


I can access ACCN with Verizon FIOS on channel 829. That's the good news.

Here are my issues:
1) I cannot play any ACCN or ACCNX content via the ESPN app. I get a message saying "You are not authorized to play this content. Please contact your provider." Yeah... I'm 30 minutes into an online chat with Verizon with no results so far. The Verizon tech thought my ESPN undername needed to match my Verizon username. Signed up for a new ESPN account... and nope! LOL

Would like to get this working by SAT because I will be in a Comcast home and want to stream the game.

2) Are Verizon users seeing a TV guide on Channel 829? I do not see any channel listings or upcoming programming on my DVR. Now... I don't use Verizon DVR, I have a Tivo Roamio... yeah I am stuck in the 1990's. Just curious if it's a Verizon issue or a Tivo issue. (I suspect Tivo).
