Mabrey was a freshman last season. In my eyes, she seemed a little uncomfortable trying to lead a team with several seniors, so she watched the show but really wanted to run it, but it simply wasn't her time. I agree 100% that Magarity and Emery lead by example. Both were dedicated to the program. It's too bad that Magarity didn't have the front court help she needed. I was and still am a big Regan Magaity fan, but she never felt comfortable leading and like I said numerous times.. that's okay, not everyone is a leader. A matter of fact, there are too many people who lead that shouldn't be.

Trinity Baptiste got better with each game. Sheppard is the player I want to see step up. We definitely need her to do so this season. I think Lydia Rivers will be a pleasant surprise. I'll be happy if Kitley and King can improve with each game. I'm expecting more from Kitley than King simply because we need more front court help. That's why I value Taylor Geiman more than King at this point. Next season, King will add more value since we're losing Taja Cole.

I like our freshmen class. It reminds me a little of Bonnie Henrickson's classes, but IMHO, this group is higher rated than most of Bonnie's classes. Then again, Kenny has to recruit for the ACC and Bonnie recruited for the A-10 and Big East.
