Hokie Golf Review - Week 34

Amanda Hollandsworth was tied for 9th going into the weekend and held onto a tie for 57th (out of 359 players) to advance out of the first of three stages of LPGA/Symetra Q school. Stage 2 is October 12 – October 17, 2019 at Plantation Golf and Country Club, Venice, FL. Everyone who advanced to stage two is listed on at least Level K for the Symetra Tour (women's version of Korn Ferry Tour) for next year. She can move move up by getting at least 80th in stage 2 (which has no cut)..

At the Korn Ferry Playoffs in Boise, Johnson Wagner missed the cut, but is 26th on the list after 2 events. Drew Weaver finished T61st, winning $2,520 and is 72nd on the money list. I'll go through the scenarios for getting a card in next week's preview. Next week's event starts on Friday due to the Labor Day holiday.

Scott Vincent finished T15 this week at the Japan Tour's Shigeo Nagashima Invitational SEGASAMMY Cup in Hokkaido winning 2,355,000 yen (about $22,350). He moved up 2 spots to #26 on their money list. He also scored 1.4 world ranking points and is currently #173 in the world rankings.

Sarit Suwannarut missed the cut on the All Thailand Golf Tour.
