It's a player development position.


I believe Dev primarily handled this task last year. It will be nice to have a dedicated staff position so the assistants can focus on recruiting and coaching.

FWIW, Giltner's role right now is more like Layer since he is a "special assistant to the head coach" without a specifically defined area of responsibility.
