When CMY was hired I thought at the time he was, temperamentally, a lot
like Charlie Moir who had good success here but never quite set the world on fire, so to speak. CMY is showing that he has one big advantage over Charlie. Charlie was criticized for not going after good recruits early (in their freshman or sophomore years) but would wait for the recruit's junior year when every school had already offered the player. Even his own assistant for one year, Tom Abatamarco, said that. We lost out on a number of high profile recruits.
CMY is going after them early, which is great. I suspect it will pay off over the years- big time.
