I’m actually still optimistic about Fuente to lead us...if you knew who I was, I’d tell you just ask my friends. Positive vibes here...

But optimism for Fuente doesn’t mean I don’t have my concerns at this given time. Those numbers you gave me are the past...I want to talk about the present and future. Also facilities and staff didn’t matter as much in the old days of recruiting...recruiting videos, social media, access to recruits (thru cell phones instead of land lines), digital content, graphic design, ease of travel (planes), and exposure of facility enhancements through the internet have all added to the change in recruiting landscape. A guy from 757 sees more and interacts with more LSU/Bama/Georgia today than he would in the 90s or early 2000s due to technology.

Given your optimism and support for Fu, I’d hope you’d have similar concerns so that those Fu addresses them and doesn’t lose his job or this program. We all want the same thing...I’m hoping Fu makes the tough decision now and Whit makes the proper investments to get us there. Concerns still exist even though we are optimistic. At a certain point my optimism may be a concern too. Let’s just be real with ourselves.
