I know the transitive property is not supposed to apply
but a team widely regarded as the worst power-5 team rushed for 330 yards against BC while committing 1 turnover. VT against the same BC team: 104 yards rushing and 5 turnovers. So it’s not like the ball bounced the wrong way or a play here or there made the difference. Kansas was superior in every way.
That being said, there’s still a game to be played today, and I’ll feel somewhat better if we blow out Furman. If it’s close, that’s a different story. We were close last week against a team that on paper we should have blown out. One close game against a team like that is a fluke. Two in a row isn’t.
