That is one area where VT has been lacking. I'm not one of those fans who thinks that every coaching vacancy has to be filled by a Hokie but if that's one extreme, our hoops program has been at the other end.

Also think it can't hurt to have a guy on the bench who knows what it's like to play at VT, that will instantly make him more relatable to the current players.
