No new Head Coach should ever be forced to accept a condition like being forced to take on a staff member he did not select. If the new head coach thinks highly of BuD Foster, then he can keep him, if he doesn't then Bud Foster packs his bags. It does not matter what anyone else thinks, the Head Coach is the guy that calls these shots. Otherwise, he does not take the job. I understand the Fuente was not VT's first choice. Choices #1 and #2 passed because of this condition of accepting Bud Foster. Fuente agreed to the condition and got the job.

This sort of requirement is why Tennessee is a dumpster fire. I expected better of VT than this, if true.
