I can appreciate that take. It’s not the reason for mine, but I get it.
And you are very right, 2 yrs were good.
But I didn’t view last yr as avg, my view was pretty poor with some red flags starting to bubble.
I see a decline that coincides with no Evans (who they landed, kudos, but did not develop whatsoever beyond the talent he came in with) and losing Beamer era players. You may disagree but it’s hard to argue it because it matches well.
Evans literally masked serious coaching issues just like others did for Stiney - doesn’t mean there aren’t coaching issues. It’s obvious there are IMO.
And if you want me to count the first two, then you don’t get to discount last and this one - and let’s stop pretending that this yr will turn into some magic ride. It’s a disaster and it’s ok to admit it and recognize it.
Now that’s all personal take, so take for what it’s worth.
And for me, there are glaring problems that have next to nothing to do with youth.
