Maybe but a lot of what posters have written (including him) are facts
Too many players have entered the portal; that raises questions about responsibility. That fact (2nd most players in the portal) combined with facts about Fuente's current recruiting class and failure to reach our top targets this year raises more questions.
Couple those facts with the results from weeks 1-4 and it raises more questions about his coaching. Couple that fact with regressions in player performances as players have grown in this program, and it raises even more questions.
Couple those facts with the FACT that Fuente isn't received or viewed as a "warm" or "well-liked" person in the Burg and it raises more difficult questions.
Those aren't opinions. Many of those things are facts.
What you do with those facts and how you interpret them is up to you. But they aren't necessarily up for debate. Again, I'm glad we won and it gives us hope.
Just an FYI: Don said he would eat crow after the win (in comments to Chris's article) and celebrates like all fans do. Nevertheless, we do need to keep things in perspective.
It took a long time for Chris/Will and national media to start questioning Fuente. It's going to take more than one game to dig out. But he has the shovel in his hand and he started the process last week.
Let's all hope that some of the changes he made are permanent and that we can move in the right direction! I'm hoping to see dramatic improvement next week.
Thanks! Go Hokies!
