P-4 with Conference Champions only is the only way for ND. Let's play out

that scenario.

I think ESPN would love to see Texas in the ACC. B1G doesn't retain them for ESPN, neither does the PAC and Texas doesn't want to follow A&M. That would be humiliating to them.

As far as games, there would only be 7 Conference games, that leaves 5 OOC games. They still can play Oklahoma, they could reschedule Texas A&M (just like we are now doing with WVU), they could still play Texas Tech...bottom line is they could play plenty of regional games because if you win your Division and then the Conference Championship you are in the playoff no matter what happened with OOC games. That means less scheduling of the sisters of the poor. The higher profile games like OU and UT would have conference bragging rights attached to them and still fill the stadium/TV audience.
