Surprised that IMAR competing at 79kg


I wonder if he has plans on getting to 86kg or just didn't want to worry about holding his weight down for a few months.

For reference the Olympic weight classes in that range are 74kg and 86kg for 2020. For the WTT in 2019 IMAR was a finalist lost a best of 3 to world bronze (former world champ) Jordan Burroughs. One would think he'd be holding steady at 74kg with plans on 2020. I suppose he could have grown and with the intention of being stronger for the Olympic Team Trials only cut down to 74kg when he would have to in April.
