TIC. I agree with you, Photo. Unfortunately I think the first half performance against Miami was a statistical anomaly, rather than a sign of improvement. The secondary is just not very good, and hasn't been for quite a while it seems.
This will be an unpopular opinion, but I really felt that things began to slide when Torrian Gray was still here. Remember the ECU strategy of chucking deep jump balls that gave VT fits? It seemed that Tech's defensive backs had been taught to never turn and find the ball, and ECU attacked that in a bad way in multiple games.
As for the issues now, I think Tech is packing the same level of talent that it had on its best teams. Add to that a complete lack of game experience across the board, and you get what we've been seeing. Hopefully it will pay dividends in 2-3 seasons when these young players are veterans with a ton of games under their belts.
