Most of whom have been imbibing heavily all day, not sure athletics or driving long distances to nature is on their radar at halftime of football games. Partying is the only real answer, and maybe I'm too far removed from bburg to remember, but there used to be (like 5 years ago) a major lull in parties during the game that didn't pick up until 30 minutes after the final whistle.
