In the 70's, basically the entire east side was the student section and


the west was for season ticket holders. Bill Dooley changed that when he got here, he ask why the best seats on the east went to students when they could go to alums who would be paying for the tickets and donating to the Hokie Club. That was when I moved from section 16 in the west to section 11 where I got 50 yard line tickets.
