Not sure whos serious and whos not....

...but keeping students in the stadiums is based on one thing which is winning. I started school in 2011 and except for blowouts against sub par teams, Arkansas St is one I remember, tickets were impossible to get, you tried anything possible to sneak your way into north endzone, you planned out which entrance had the shortest line so you wouldnt miss Enter Sandman, and you stayed for the entire time.

Now the product on the field is not nearly as exciting as it was, and we have generally be less than good. We are fighting to play in some lesser bowl instead of NY6 bowl game. Just look at Cassell if you want proof. Up until Buzz came none of my friends had been inside, and by my "senior year" you had to fight to get tickets, and that wasnt just for the UVA games.

Two final points:
1. Please note that from what I can tell from TV the stadium is empty everywhere not just in student sections
2. To anyone who thinks Wifi/social media is our "bloodline" and we get "FOMO" when we dont have it for a few hours get off your boomer horse because recruits (both academic and athletic) want to see an exciting atmosphere and seeing it from their friends on instagram and twitter promote that, and again when the atmosphere becomes what it was the night Logan Thomas ran it in to beat Miami no one will look at their phone the entire game.
