Well, looks like my Honda's brake job will be a little more involved.

Car started making noise about a week ago, sounding like brakes were dragging slightly? Been driving my Tacoma for the last week, and decided today was the day I needed to look at it. It was a chore just popping the caliper up to pull & inspect the pads. Everything looks rusty (car spent it's early years in the north east). I cleaned everything up as well as I could, greased the parts where the pads slide in the clips (single piston floating caliper), then put everything together. Guess what, it's still makes noise. To be on the safe side, I think I'm just going to replace everything...pads, rotors and even the calipers. That should set the clock on the front brakes...lol Guess I should look at the rears, and possibly replace them too.

It may sound strange, but I actually enjoy these little jobs...lol
