Just tried the yardbird sammich offering from Popeye's. Thoughts:

+1 Traveled well. The runner had 20 minutes back to the office and it was still crispy, didn't steam itself soft en route..but,

-1 it probably stayed crispy because it was over breaded IMO. Breading to chicken ratio was too high. Made it more greasy than the standard offering from the Christians.

Spicy mayo was legit spicy which is a big +1 for KJ. I often get the spicy version from the Christians and still add a packet or two of texas pete. No need here.

Overall I'd get it again on the off chance I'm in the neighborhood and in need of a chicken sammich. Otherwise, my loyalty remains with Chick Fil A, which is much more ubiquitous in the Queen City anyways.
