Did you see the word

I assumed that distinction was obvious (I guess it wasn't to you), but players can draw fouls like Nolley does by pump faking and getting guys in the air. Or they can draw fouls like Delaney did by driving to rack. The two aren't mutually inclusive.

Also, I guess you didn't watch the games closely. Nolley had a stretch in game two were he went to the line on several consecutive possessions, during his tough shooting stretch and during the team's dry spell. He stopped a dry spell during game three by going to the line on several key possessions in the second half, which sparked a mini Nolley explosion, which then sparked the team as a whole to run away down the stretch.

Based on your post, I don't think you're someone who can appreciate key moments in games based on the eye, though. That's cool, I guess, but don't reference meaningless analytics that don't support your point. And please don't try to compare Devin Wilson to Nolley...best practice: don't use Devin Wilson as metric for anything hokie basketball.

Since you're a "stats" guy, I'll make you a two bets using a meaningful analytic (both prove the point in my initial post): 1) I bet that Nolley ends up in the top 15 of the ACC in free throw attempts by the end of the season (barring injury, of course); and 2) I bet that Nolley gets to the line more times than Delaney did at the end of his first year.
