Swap out Delaney for your boy Wilson then...usage rate should be similar.

I didn't forget that season btw. I just didn't think Wilson was ever going to be the man long-term, especially with his ft% that year (remember him missing a lot those free throws)...Again, I prefer the eye test to analytics.

When you start paying attention to games, you will see that Nolley doesn't try to draw fouls "after pump faking from deep." He catches and shoots from deep. When Nolley tries to draw fouls to steal points at the line, he either posts up or is in the 10-15 ft range. It's going to happen a lot this season if shots aren't falling from three (for him and the team) or if he's bigger than the 2/3 guarding him. That part of his game impressed me the most during Clemson, which is not a sub-300 Kenpom team.

We will see how things end up, though. I do agree NAW was more rounded his 2nd year than 1st (most everyone is), but there is no substitute for logging game minutes and doing it when the cameras come on. Had Buzz allowed it (he wouldn't have), I don't think Nolley would have been shy about putting up shots last year...Nolley probably averages double digits if he played last year, IMO. He strikes me as a "shooter's shoot" mentality guy (NAW not so much, more PG minded)...not sure if Alleyne has that mentality (yet?)either, he's relatively new to basketball from what I hear. Either way, excited to watch them both.
