Not back in the day, but I thought the 2016 road win at Michigan was big.
UM ended up as a Sweet Sixteen team that year, and beating a John Beilein-coached team on the road is never easy.
Further back, although it wasn't a ranked opponent, beating a Gene Keady-coached Western Kentucky team in the NCAA tourney back in 1980 was pretty big too, IMHO, because (a) it was a thrilling double OT game that we came from behind to win, and (b) the game was played in Kentucky so it was basically a road game for us.
