I've never seen a school make such a cluster out of such a simple thing.
Selling out your stadium for a rivalry game with conference title and major bowl game implications should be a no-brainer. Instead, UVA has managed to combine a massive inferiority complex regarding visiting fans, inept website coding, a botched ticket refund/cancellation policy, and now a refusal to sell the remaining tickets online with less than 48 hrs to go before kickoff into quite the mess. And it has hurt their fans as much as ours. I would not want to be working the gates tomorrow and having to explain to a bunch of angry people why the tickets they are holding in their hand or on their phone won't get them admitted. And it's not going to be a great look on TV to see the number of empty seats that could easily have been filled.
