These broadcast deals are more about revenue streams than actual coverage


ESPN bought acc because of its basketball...ACC is the SEC of college basketball. Its the guarantee revenue... and ACC is NOW an DISNEY Property like SEC.

Watch the DISNEY ESPN platforms as they move to internet platform. They will manage content from their portal, and no sharing..... Between movies, TV networks, sports, they will be the big dawgs. and the ACC are with them.

Also, it says CBS is making a business move and SEC is not worth the business investment. They will focus on NCAA tourney, and basketball and NFL and CBS platform as well as their merger with VIACOM. Long term, its FOX versus DISNEY and while sports may be competitive overall DISNEY has the content platforms.

The TV of the sixties and seventies are gone.
