Could actually help in scheduling ACC primetime games


IIRC, CBS had exclusivity in the 3:30 slot with the SEC meaning no other SEC games could be aired , that slot, and that's why they paid that (at the time) premium for that slate of games. With that exclusivity, it forced ESPN to air other SEC games in primetime on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, which in turn froze the ACC out of those slots. With the 3:30 slots now open for the SEC, that should open up some of the 7pm slots for the ACC.
