FWIW, I don't think ACC has had a team in the CBI after the first year


Doubt you were actually being serious about that, but it's probably no longer an option. I don't know if it is no longer allowed by the conference, or just "strongly frowned upon" for an ACC team to have to pay to be in a postseason tournament.
