You can still buy "stand alone" copies of Office from MS


I did last year, purchased it via a download from the MS website. I was looking for older versions for sale, but found a lot had invalid keys that had already been used. I bought the version without Access this time, which was a first for me. But I had never used Access in any of the half dozen versions of Office Professional before...

I only wanted Outlook, Word, Excel and PP. Whatever else came with it was a bonus (that I really don't use...lol)

Looks like it's a one time purchase of $249.
