I need to find an investment advisor in Lynchburg for my 89-year-old mother. Someone who can manage her IRA. Not interested in a firm that makes commissions/fees off of selling their own products. Not interested in a stock broker that churns portfolios. Not interested in insurance products or annuities.

She's 89 so conservative fixed income is what she needs.

I can do it myself or use a Robo investor through Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, etc but I'd prefer to have someone else handle it. She needs a human that she trusts.

CFA, etc is preferred. Hokie Alum is also preferred but not an absolute.
