That's not too far off my regular chili recipe.


I usually make mine in the fall when I have fresh habaneros. I also usually use a McCormick's chili spice packet, vice going with the individual spices. I add a lot more fresh garlic, and usually at least 2 lbs of ground beef. I don't add water, since I want to make it thicker (i.e. less "soupy").

What's "pepper juice?" If I make it before or after Hab season, I'll toss in a jar of jalapeños (drained).
