In case you haven't seen UVa's new stadium here's an update pic
They're finally putting some money ($22M) into their program. This doesn't show the locker room and indoor facility which is attached. They spared no expense on this. Heated dugouts, ventilated cleat storage, and nutrition area are some cool features I've seen. They've also moved it from where it was hidden out past their rec fields to beside their national caliber baseball and soccer complexes which also gives it value. You really have no idea how many decades they've put this off and how the results directly correlate to their investment unless you have seen it. They had no indoor facility of their own either. VT is very lucky to have had a more forward thinking athletic department. It's going to take time for them to get results, but at least the girls will feel they are part of something important. I've attached pics of the new stadium vs. the old one. Guess which one is the new one!!
