Several years ago we could remind someone, hey re-enter player x or whatever if they didn’t right away. Now we’re just waiting for that blunder to pop up every couple years. Problem being unless you are in the know, fans get very confused why a player who was called out is back at the plate, outs taken off the board, etc. Plus if you’re the home team and it happens to you, you can’t announce hey our coaches were stupid and didn’t re-enter that player, lol. You just have to move on.
