There are a whole bunch of years where we play six home games. By way of contrast, every SEC team plays seven home games every single season with the exception of 1) Georgia, because of that neutral site game vs Florida they may only get six games some years, especially if they schedule a quality home-away in addition to GT, and 2) Vandy because they are a perennial
bottom-feeder. Not only are we playing six games roughly half the time, but there is also one year that we are giving up a 7th game at the expense of playing both Liberty and ODU on the road. I doubt there is a single other Power-5 school, let alone an SEC school, that would intentionally schedule two Group-of-Five teams on the road in the same season. Maybe if it was some team with some name cache like Army or BYU would they do it.
