What will we do if we cannot idealize people with a completely irrelevant & irrational skill sets for modern life? The sky is falling!!!

Maybe we could make a TV show "the race for the cure" and celebrate the scientists, doctors and engineers finding a cure with a 100 Million cash prize rather than the football season. Maybe we could push our society to revere and respect the 1% in these fields as much or better than the 1% in athletic performance.
